QUARTETTO EOS Italy

Formed in 2016 at the S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, the Eos Quartet immediately came to the attention of the musical world for its freshness and depth of interpretations, winning in 2018 the Farulli Prize awarded by the Italian Music Critics as part of the Franco Abbiati Prize.
The ensemble has already achieved important successes in international competitions, such as 1st Prize at the Orpheus Chamber Music Competition in Winterthur in 2020, Special Prize at the 13th International String Quartet Competition Premio Paolo Borciani in Reggio Emilia, at the International Chamber Music Competition Anton Rubinstein in Düsseldorf in 2019 and First Prize at the Amur Nuovi Talenti Competition in Milan in 2024.
In 2023, he is a semifinalist at the 77th edition of the prestigious Geneva Competition.
Quartetto Eos plays regularly for the most important musical institutions in Europe such as the Società del Quartetto in Milan, Flagey in Brussels, Davos Festival, Istituzione Universitaria Concerti (IUC), Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Philharmonie de Paris and others.
He collaborates periodically with such musicians as Calogero Palermo, first clarinet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Jerusalem Quartet, Cremona Quartet, Enrico Pace, Aron Chiesa, first clarinet of the Teatro alla Scala, Enrico Dindo and Cristian Poltéra.
In 2022 a debut album was released, fully produced and financed by Da Vinci Records, featuring pieces by Janacek, Mendelssohn, and Webern.
In 2024 a CD of music by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, funded by COOP ART in Rome and the Accademia degli Sfaccendati, produced by the Brilliant Classic label.
In 2024 he was engaged in recording the complete chamber music for strings by G. Sgambati with the Tactus label.
